Vacuflush Half Clamp Kit clamps the bowl to the base. Most often found under a base cover. If you have a (4) bolt base mounted toilet that is missing it's cover, and you would like a sleeker look for your commode, click on the parts diagrams, find your toilet model and add a base cover to your shopping cart.
MY INSTALLATION TIP: Note that the tabs go in the front, and the clamp goes in the back. Tighten the clamp enough to be able to fit the halves under it.
Take one half and start twards the front of the toilet and round the half towards the back, putting pressure on it. You'll feel the resistance of it fitting tighter around the base/bowl. It should stay in place once you have the front where you want. Repeat on the other side -BUT- this side will not stay in place on it's own. Round it towards the back and lift the slightly tightened clamp up and around the halves. This will pull the second half closer to the base, and secure them around the base/bowl. Join the tabs in the front & tighten your clamp.
