Skipper, Packing Material (1ft)

This is an aftermarket item that Marine Sanitation and has used for years in all of its rebuilds.  Works as original. 

Wilcox used (2) sizes of packing in the beginning and then went to only using the 1/8".

When installing in the pump shaft (specs say 1/4" because they never updated their paperwork): The packing ring is angled towards the packing so when you tighten the shaft packing nut it allows the ring to compress/expand the packing.
