The 1-1/2" Duckbill fits the S series (4each) vacuum pumps and T series (2each) of transfer / discharge pumps.
Duckbill valves are a one way check valve. They hold vacuum and ensure no back-flow of waste or water. They should be replaced every 3-5 years, depending on use.
Symptoms that your duckbill valves need to be replaced:
-Your pump will periodically turn on, trying to build lost vacuum
-Your pump will not turn off in the 20-30 seconds it normally does. It is trying to build vacuum. Without the duckbills closing as they should, because they are worn out or have particles stuck in them, vacuum can not be held.
